1. Overview
Ullor is a peer-to-peer marketplace for renting outdoor and action-sports gear. We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep your account secure, remember the progress of rentals and listings, and understand how people use key features. This policy explains what those cookies do, how long they remain on your device, and how you can manage them.
2. Cookies We Use
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores. Some are set directly by Ullor (first-party cookies) and others are set by partners who help us provide our service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Essential cookies (required)
These cookies keep the platform secure and let you move between pages without losing your session. They are strictly necessary for Ullor to function.
- auth_session: Secure, HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you signed in across pages and protects access to your dashboard, bookings, and host tools. Cleared automatically when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
- google_oauth_state & login_verifier: Short-lived cookies used when you choose “Continue with Google.” They confirm that the sign-in request came from you and expire within minutes after the flow completes.
- Password reset security cookies: Short-term cookies we issue during credential changes so we can confirm the request and protect your account. They are deleted once the process completes.
Analytics & diagnostics
To improve stability and plan our roadmap, we measure how often critical actions happen (e.g., searches, bookings, host sign-ups). We currently rely on Mixpanel, which receives a pseudonymized event ID generated by Ullor. Mixpanel does not set its own cookies through our app, but your browser may store a first-party identifier that helps us avoid counting the same action twice.
When we introduce optional preference features that rely on cookies or local storage (for example, remembering listing drafts or recent filters), we will describe them on this page before they launch.
3. Third-Party Technologies
When you interact with certain features, third parties may place or read cookies. This includes Google (for “Continue with Google” authentication) and payment providers that help process host payouts or reservation deposits. These cookies are controlled by those third parties and are governed by their privacy notices. We only enable integrations that are required to deliver Ullor’s service, and we limit the data shared to what is necessary.
4. Managing Your Preferences
Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can update your settings at any time:
- Delete or block cookies in your browser preferences. If you block essential cookies, Ullor may not function properly.
- Use private browsing or incognito modes for single sessions.
- Opt out of analytics tracking by emailing support@ullor.com. We will honor your request by excluding your account or device from analytics where feasible.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is currently no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals, so Ullor does not respond to them at this time. We will update this policy if that changes.
6. Updates to This Policy
We review our cookie practices whenever we launch new features or work with new partners. If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date.
