Getting Started with Ullor

Jump into the Ullor marketplace in a few quick steps. This guide covers creating your account, completing verification, and requesting your first rental so you can explore more with the right gear.

1. Create your account

Tap Sign Up from the top navigation and follow the prompts. We use email verification to keep the community safe, so have your inbox handy. If you already have a Google account, choose Google sign-in for the fastest onboarding.

2. Build a trustworthy profile

Visit Profile > Account settings to add a photo, phone number, and a short bio. Hosts are more likely to approve requests from renters who share their outdoor experience and preferred activities.

  • Upload a clear profile photo so hosts recognize you at pickup.
  • Verify your phone number to receive time-sensitive updates.
  • Add a default payment method. Ullor stores cards securely via Stripe so you're ready to reserve gear at checkout.

3. Search for the perfect gear

Use the search bar on the homepage to filter by sport, dates, and pickup radius. Our map and timeline view highlights availability windows, while the sidebar shows real-time pricing with taxes and service fees included.

Favorite listings you're considering so you can compare inclusions like helmets, waxed boards, and delivery options before you decide.

4. Request and confirm a rental

When you're ready, choose your dates, review the rental breakdown, and click Reserve. Hosts receive an instant notification and typically respond within a few hours. You'll only be charged when the host accepts your request.

  • Keep your phone nearby for messages. Hosts often coordinate pickup spots or on-trail meetups via Ullor chat.
  • Need to adjust dates? Modify or cancel through Profile > Reservationsbefore the host's cancellation window closes.

5. Pick up, ride, and return

Arrive on time with a valid ID. Inspect the gear alongside the host and snap a quick photo before you head out. When you return the equipment, clean it and communicate any wear or issues. Hosts can log post-trip notes directly from their dashboard, so transparency keeps everyone protected.
